My name is Kevin. The creation of this page is due to a school assignment. It is actually my final for English 103, which I think is a very cool idea! I began this page on Febuary 24, 2000. I thought I would make a page dedicated to the music I like. By doing this, I hope to make people aware of these bands so that they can enjoy them too.

The music I listen to covers a great range. I listen to music from metal to blues and everything in between. This WebPage will not cover everything though. I want to stay focused on my favorite metal, rock, and alternative bands. These styles of music are greatly overlooked by the media. This is mainly due to MTV focusing on pop music to get ratings from all those teenaged girls. I have to admit that MTV is the most influential musical media force out there. By what they show becomes the popular thing in music, and it can make or break bands. In return, many styles of music are barely represented in mainstream media. This is very unfortunate and I hope to shed some light on a few styles that I like.

Remember: ROCK IS NOT DEAD!
